For example, only three seconds are needed to advance 14 hours from Tokyo to New York time, thanks to the system that moves hour, minute, and seconds hand independently. New functions also allow automatic adjustment to Daylight Saving Time and give the wearer the ability to switch the main dial instantly from home to local time and vice versa.

While paying due respect to its heritage, the design of this watch also has a modernity that is epitomised in its advanced technology within. This series takes its design influence from the world’s first Quartz watch – the Seiko 1969 Astron – with a similar curved silhouette case and thin bezel.
